Went back last night. Had to get more lady finger baklava. Found out I had tried the cashew version and saw a pistachio version. Also, very addictive. Also tried a walnut baklava. Met the other owner who was the brother of Omar. Very kind owners. Said they bake every day. Display case was full of baklava. This is definitely going to be a permanent go-to for me. Owner said their baklava is not overly sweet and I think that's what makes it taste so good.

All the baked goods I got were delicious! The person working was very kind. I can't wait to go back again.

This place is small but mighty!!!! Best baklava in Chicago hands down! I looked and searched and tasted! The owner is so funny and kind. Lots to choose from! Something for everyone.

Of all the bakeries I have gone, this one is outstanding. I went in on a whim, and to my delight, the owner was warm and inviting. I have become a regular week after week. He has allowed me to pick and choose individual pastries/cookies to buy. The baklava, cookies, falafel and dates are the best I have had! The quality and price is unmatched, as is the customer service. You truly feel like family and old friends when you go.

Wonderful selection of all kinda of things, we were even given a sample to try and it was amazing, I would definitely go again to try some more of what was to offer. :)

They have delicious Middle Eastern pastries! We got a a medium assorted tray and he gave us a a few treats for free. The man who runs the place was very nice. Definitely stop by and give them a try!

If you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern sweets, bread, or falafel, this is the place to go! My family has been buying from this store for years. Great quality, always tastes fresh, and prices are fair.

Thank you yelpers for steering me to this place! Such an unassuming place I would never have thought to go in. I bought a few pieces each of the 3 different kinds of baklava they have: pistachio, cashew and walnut. (If I had to choose, my favorite was the walnut but they were all so delicious!) Most places are too drenched in honey and too sweet for me. But Feyrous' baklava was the perfect amount of sweetness. They make them in house and the owner, Mohammad, was so nice and helpful as I asked him to explain different desserts that I was pointing to. I even managed to save a few to eat the next day and they were still so delicious.

I went to Feyrous today because we are cooking Molukhia tonight! It is kind of like a stewed spinach dish but in English it's called Jews Mallow. Still the BEST FALAFEL in the City, Bulgarian feta, Labna (yogurt), Olives, Apricot and fig jam, Spinach pies, pita bread, orange blossom honey, and the pink bag of tea.
